In my experience, yes.Almost every day for the last 3 yrs, I’ve been pool running & swimming 1hr - 3.5hrs. wearing the Aquajogger and the 5lb set of weights on my ankles*. So far have experienced no problems, outside of the gradual fading of the outside neoprene covering (due to pool chlorine). Very well made — even after 3 yr of daily use, there’s no evidence of weakened/threadbare material or compromised construction.*Experienced runners/swimmers only. Would NOT recommend water running/swimming with ankle weights unless: (1) experienced runner/swimmer & (2) wearing Aqua Jogger belt & (3) accompanied by another (adult, athlete, life guard), never alone.
